Taken from the 8th gen civic page, some guy just tried to buy this ‘18 Si...i hope he didnt

I honestly don’t get the appeal of Civics at all. They are huge and shitty looking

What’s his interest rate? Like 20%?
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:15 |

4000000%

I wasn’t aware that buy here pay here places had ventured into the new car market.

13.25% APR!

I tend to agree. I mean, they’re good cars. My brother got one. It’s good, and I think it looks better in front than a Corolla. But there are better looking options, like a Mazda 3.

So is your face.
*Looks in mirror*
I would like to redact my previous statement .

Ha, it’s a franhise Honda dealer where they’re trying to eat steak for the rest of their lives off this kid

That’s why I married at 21, get em while you’re at your best, let it all go

The first M3 I tried to buy would’ve been something like $1000/month. Then again I would have been borrowing ~50k.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:20 |

15 % for 48+2000 down...
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:20 |

Right around 12%
per the loan calculator I use at work.

FAKE NEWS
There’s no “dealer market value adjustment” in the quote.

Guess I need a time machine then.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:26 |

Looks around 12% almost 10k in interest. This purchase sheet looks absolutely insane, yet dealers make these types of sales regularly.

Clearly you have never been to a Kia or Nissan dealer.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:27 |

Been to a Kia dealer, but why would I go to a Nissan dealer? I don’t actually understand why anyone would buy a Nissan.

Take away the $2k in bullshit charges and write a check for it. The financing is borderline usury.

Subject to meeting credit terms. I’m sure that if his credit’s not good enough he won’t qualify for such a great
rate. Ha.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:31 |

WOAH!!! If he just put aside his payment for 48 months he could have himself a Type R
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:34 |

“ Security alarm” and such plus the hilarious rates...
If I were Honda I’d take away that dealer’s franchise license.

Only $399 for permaplate, sold!
![]() 07/11/2018 at 12:36 |

Like any Civic or just the new ones? I have a family member that just bought a new non Type R hatchback and it is comically large next to my 96 coupe. The front doors on his are bigger than my door. I have owned something like 13 Hondas/Acuras and you could not pay me to walk into a either current dealership.

2001 forward.

Not a bad overall
price... if it was in Canadian funds.
The financing options look like a total ripoff... with an interest rate in the 12-14% range.
And a $600 doc fee? What are they doing with the documents to justify a fee like that? And what is the $39.25 non-doc fee?
And $759 for a security alarm when new cars these days come with all the security you need already built in?
And what’s ‘permaplate’? Sounds like bullshit to me.

Ouch!
![]() 07/11/2018 at 13:01 |

None of these numbers even make sense unless he’s trying to finance with a credit score fresh off of bankruptcy, lol

Got mine new and designed for me. My 2001 S4 trade in garnered me 10k and I had $719 a month with .9% APR for 4 years. I refinanced and now it is like $319.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 13:06 |

I’ll agree except for the EP3 Si, I’ve wanted one since they came out.
![]() 07/11/2018 at 13:13 |

I went $800/ month on my E46 when I was 22. Traded in my STi which I was 8k underwater on lol. I paid it off in 4 years, but that is one of the many reasons why I will never let it go.

If only cars were like phones, where your monthly payments total what the phone’s price says.

I sealed the deal at 24. Boy was she in for a rude awakening.
